Ahmet Aykanat - Turkey

Born in 1950 in the village of Delemenler in Alasehir. He completed his secondary education in Alasehir and Salihli and attended university at Istanbul University’s School of Literature, Departament of Philosophy (1974). He taught philosophy in Orhangazi, Karacabey and Bursa. He taught at Uludag University’s School of Education Departament of Primary School Education in Philosophy, Esthetics and Cartoon classes. 
His first cartoon he published in magazine Ustura (1969). His first exhibition took place in 1973. He attended many exhibitions nationally and internationally. He pioneered taught the first cartoon class at Uludag University’s School of Education (1994-2001).

Cartoon awards: in Turkey and in Japan (1988), Italy (1995, 1997, 2003), Cyprus (1995), Romania (2003), China (2003), South Korea (2004).
