Christof Eugster, was born in Zurich (Switzerland) in 1957and grew up in Zurich and Paris (France). Since 1975 he is living in Florence (Italy), where he studied at the Art Lyceum and attended further painting classes at the Art Academy.
In 1982 his first cartoons were published in the Italian magazine "Arte in Toscana" and in the following years he collaborated with the magazines "Penthouse" and "Punch". In the same years he published the poster series "Enciclopedie" ( enciclopedia delle razze - enciclopedia dell'eleganza - enciclopedia dei caratteri - enciclopedia dello sport - enciclopedia dei mestieri ) and several cartoon-calendars.
Currently his cartoons appears on the Swiss satirical magazine "Nebelspalter" and in the Belgian magazine "Actahumoristica". He is also collaborating with the German editor Friedrich Heye for which he draws greetingcards.
Beside his activity as a cartoonist, he lectures in humorous and satiric drawing at the International Comics School in Florence.
Every year he takes part in international cartoon exhibitions and contests where he has been awarded for is work.
