László Szabó - Hungary Téjlor and Tom I was born in 8th of June, 1973 as a small child, in Tiszalök (a small town in Hungary) and since I live here. I had finished the elementary school and started the secondary school at first. But I wanted to be an assistant of Gerald Durrell on the isle of Jersey. I started correspondencing with him, but a half year later he died. I leaved the secondary school? (first). I worked for a small daily newspaper, I wrote some crime stories, I changed my carreer ? for a writer?s carreer. Meanwhile I wanted to be a priest. During this time I leaved the secondary school again. I got a qualification as a salesman in 1991. I started to work as a nwesagent in a small newsstand. I finished an illustrator school. I was working in different workplaces as unskilled worker. The war in Yugoslavia made no change in our life. I and my best friend,
Tom Zool were member of a literary magazine. We started to make cartoons and comics, for some very popular Hungarian magazines. So we find the perfect profession, I am a cartoonist for more than seven years known as Téjlor, and my story-writer and humour-creator friend as Tom Zool, he is working with me from the beginning. I got married in 1998, my wife gave life to my daughter, Konstancia, and my son, Koppány. There is a Dutch magazine, which is publicadet in 12 countries, called Rooie Oortjes. My comics will be publicated in this very popular magazine. And we are open for Poland, the best friend of Hungary. So that?s why you can see our drawings. * Member of Good Humor Party :-)
